Happy St George’s Day…

What a gloriously sunny week it has been so far.  The children have returned refreshed and ready for another fun packed term of learning and as you would expect the week has already been a hive of activity.

I think we have enjoyed the sunny playtimes and the early opportunity to polish up on the rules of rounders and enjoy a game or two in our games sessions at KS2.

Our fingers are firmly crossed that the warm and sunny ( and dry) weather will hold out for one more day so that our Y4 explorers are able to enjoy their educational expedition to Formby. This is the first of several excursions across school to investigate the coastal landscape and the geographical contrasts both within our country and beyond.  This is the major focus of Our Think of a Number – 99 theme.

We are very much looking forward to the usual summer term events as well as one or two new ones perhaps.  I will endeavour to update my blog with more information of events as the term moves forward.

In the meantime, let’s hope we can put those buckets and spades to use tomorrow!
